Severance

A salad rebranding

This conceptual rebranding project reimagines the universe of the Severance web series as a bold and satirical salad restaurant brand. Built around the theme of duality—work/life, mind/body, inner/outer health—Severance transforms its dystopian roots into a fresh, ironically cheerful wellness identity.

The brand identity uses a striking green palette, clean typography, and minimalist iconography to balance corporate sleekness with organic freshness. The logo features a stylized “S” that subtly incorporates a leaf motif, symbolizing both growth and nourishment. The inverted triangle in the logotype references the show's visual language while playfully suggesting “cutting ties” (with unhealthy habits, perhaps).

Packaging design, environmental branding, and promotional visuals are infused with surreal humor—like the broccoli-headed businessman—mirroring the tone of the series while emphasizing health, satire, and absurdity. The slogan “Healthy Innie, Happy Outie” cleverly ties the wellness theme to the show’s premise.

This project explores branding through the lens of narrative adaptation, using visual identity and design strategy to reinterpret pop culture into a satirical yet marketable concept. It combines skills in logo development, packaging, art direction, and visual storytelling.
